Jo has given me tools and tiny actions (micro steps) I can use throughout my day to help keep my stress in check, it certainly hasn’t gone away however I feel more control now and recognize when to pause and take a breath.  

Daily mindful practices really are helping my mental health, my co-workers and family have noticed. Not only that, but it is also helping my time efficiency. 

Having the group coaching has increased peer support, we have shared experiences and knowledge. Also, I can pass this onto my team and feel better placed to foster accountability and community against them.  

I decided to work with Jo as my health coach because I was burned out by my current routines and looking for a way to effectively manage stress in my life. Jo guided me and at times for sure challenged me out of my comfort zone. With her support I effectively changed my behavior.  

 My biggest take away was being able to have an open dialogue with an unbiased professional about what was contributing to my lifestyle. Then being asked questions to think through what was in my control to change.  My biggest success was being able to set my own goals and reflect on a recurring basis on my progress so that I can see how small changes over a period had an appreciable effect on my life.  

Jo is compassionate, a great listener, positive, encouraging, honest and knowledgeable.

Fabulous is the word that seems to be used most often for Jo and with good reason! My workout buddy and I can be a handful, but only because we enjoy training with Jo so much; she keeps our twice per week sessions fresh and changes it up as we need to keep us engaged and having fun. She pushes us hard sometimes but also recognizes when one or both of us need a more restorative session and is equally adept at either. Most of all Jo thoroughly enjoys what she does and that is always abundantly clear! What’s more, my health stats have ALL improved. My blood work is now getting a top rating at my doctor’s office!  

I’d always hated the gym. Jo helped me realize that there are so many ways to work on my fitness besides weights and treadmills. Movement was not easy at first– I had every excuse, we talked about this and agreed I would start small. With her support I went from dreading exercise to enjoying some outdoor walks, time for me and how good I feel.  

Jo helped me address imbalances which were causing me a lot of stress. We explored different ways of staying in balance until we found something that works for me. Working with Jo turned out to be one of the best things I’ve done for myself in years, and it was just what I needed.
